浅田農産事件に思う

今朝のニュースになっていたが、浅田農産の会長夫妻が自殺したそうだ。このニュースを見たとき、またかと思う気持ちと徐々にブルーになって、同時に日本的社会から逃げ出したい気持ちになった。まだこの時代になっても、死ねばいいんだろう、死んで詫びればいいんだろう、という発想残っている。見方を変えれば少し滑稽にも感じた。

今回の事件は、なんで通報が遅れたかということに論点があり、原因を追求して今後のやり方を見直していくというところであった。そこになぜ生死の問題がでてくるのか私にはさっぱり分からない。完全に飛躍があるし、日本人に論理的な発想は無理なのかもしれないと思って愕然とする。
古い世代なのでしょうがないだろう、という考えもあるが、本当に今の新しい世代なら起こりえない事件なのだろうか。
憂鬱で、暗い、閉鎖的な社会にだけはいたくないものである。
