NHKで「子供が見えない」という特集番組をやっていた。
子供とインターネット、友人関係などを題材に現在の子供に迫っていく番組なのだが、私も子供がいる身なので気になる内容だった。
特に気になったのが、子供が描く絵で心理分析をした話。
十数年前の子供が書いた絵には、自分と周りの親や友達の関係がきちんと描いてあり、楽しげな絵が多いのだが、最近の子供の絵にはナイフや爆撃が描かれており暴力的な絵が多い。
ゲーム世代、コンピュータ世代の子供は、小学の高学年になっても周りとの関係性を築けず、なかなか大人になれない子供が多いそうだ。リアルな経験が減少している一方、バーチャルな情報がどんどんインプットされる状況で自己が分裂している。
会社や仕事場でも同様な現象が起こっているのではないか。
４０代、５０代の世代の上司が２０代の若者の行動を理解できないという話をよく聞く。話せばすぐに解決できることをわざわざメールしてきたり、人間関係を無視して仕事を進めたりとコミュニケーションを取るのに苦労しているようだ。
私にも経験がある。
距離にして５メートルしか離れていないのに内線してきたり、一方的に主張を書き連ねた長文のメールをもらうこともある。
そういうとき本人に注意するのだが、できるだけ大げさに感情的にコミュニケーションするようにしている。なぜなら彼らは細かい感情をはかり取るとか、「行間」を読むということができないからである。
周りから見れば私は、よく怒っている人だなあと思われ勝ちなのだが、実は意識的に感情的にしている場合が多い。
